Question
Our school is located in a time zone that is outside the mainland United States. How should I set up Foundry to be able to enter time correctly for our students?
Answer
Foundry is designed to use the time zone that your computer is set up for. Your admin should not have to do anything special to make sure that the time you are typing into the calendar (or the date you are selecting) will be correct for where you (and your computer) are located.
If you are using a laptop and travel as part of a project or attend a conference in another time zone, your laptop would typically adjust its settings to local time in the background.
Students and advisors back home will see time 'translated' for them according to their own present time zone.
